Organizing Songs

Keeping your music organized helps you find and enjoy your content faster. The software includes built-in tools for sorting, grouping, and categorizing songs.

Sorting Options

You can sort your library by:

• Title
• Artist
• Album
• Genre
• Date Added
• Play Count

Click on any column header to sort ascending/descending.

Creating Folders or Collections

Group songs manually:

1. Click New Collection in the sidebar.
2. Name the collection.
3. Drag songs into the collection.

Collections do not duplicate files—they just act as virtual groupings.

Starred or Favorite Tracks

You can mark songs as favorites:

• Right-click a song > Mark as Favorite
• Or click the ⭐ icon next to a track

These appear in your Favorites list automatically.

Tips for Organization

• Use collections for albums or moods (e.g. “Rainy Day Jazz”)
• Create folders per genre or activity
• Use smart playlists for automatic organization (see next section)
