Audio Effects
The Audio Effects module allows you to modify, enhance, and shape your sound with a range of built-in tools.
This section will guide you through the available effects, how to apply them, and ways to adjust their parameters for the best results.
Available Effects
Our software includes a variety of effects designed for different purposes:
- Reverb – Adds space and depth to the sound, simulating different acoustic environments.
- Echo / Delay – Creates repeated reflections for rhythmic or atmospheric effects.
- Equalizer (EQ) – Adjusts the balance between different frequency ranges.
- Chorus – Adds richness by layering slightly detuned copies of the audio.
- Distortion / Overdrive – Alters the waveform to create a gritty or aggressive tone.
- Compressor – Controls the dynamic range, making the sound more consistent.
- Limiter – Prevents volume peaks from exceeding a certain threshold.
Applying Effects
- Open the Effects Panel from the toolbar or menu.
- Select the desired effect from the list.
- Drag and drop it onto a track or audio region.
- Adjust the effect settings in the parameters section.
Adjusting Parameters
Each effect includes adjustable parameters to fine-tune the sound:
- Reverb – Room size, decay time, wet/dry mix.
- Delay – Delay time, feedback amount, wet/dry mix.
- EQ – Frequency bands, gain level, Q factor.
- Compressor – Threshold, ratio, attack, release.
Experiment with different settings to find the perfect balance for your project.
Saving and Reusing Effect Presets
You can save your own effect configurations for later use:
- After adjusting an effect, click Save Preset.
- Name your preset and confirm.
- Access saved presets in the Presets Library under the Effects Panel.
Tips for Using Audio Effects
- Apply subtle effects for a natural sound, especially in vocals.
- Combine effects creatively for unique textures.
