Equalizer

The built-in equalizer allows you to adjust the frequency balance of your music. It’s a powerful tool for enhancing your listening experience or tailoring playback to your environment.

Accessing the Equalizer

To open the equalizer:

  1. Go to Settings > Audio Effects.
  2. Select the Equalizer tab.

Equalizer Interface

The equalizer features a multi-band graphical interface:

  • Frequency Bands: Typically includes 5–10 bands (e.g., 60Hz, 250Hz, 1kHz, 4kHz, 16kHz).
  • Gain Sliders: Drag up or down to boost or cut specific frequencies.
  • Preset Menu: Choose from built-in presets like:
    • Bass Boost
    • Vocal Clarity
    • Classical
    • Rock
    • Flat (neutral setting)

Custom Presets

You can create and save your own presets:

  1. Adjust the sliders.
  2. Click Save Preset.
  3. Name your preset and confirm.

Presets are stored locally and can be imported/exported for sharing.

Use Cases

  • Reduce harsh treble in bright headphones.
  • Enhance bass in small speakers.
  • Isolate vocals or specific instruments.

Changes apply instantly, so you can hear the results in real time.
